Back in August a contingent of young people from Great Britain, together with Salesians and Salesian Sisters, joined hundreds of thousands of others in Madrid to meet the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI in Madrid for World Youth Day 2011. At the time, there was extensive coverage on the web site of the Salesian News Agency.

Below you may be able to view a video produced by Don Bosco Missions which will bring back happy memories for those who were fortunate to be able to attend World Youth Day, and which will let the rest of us share some of the joy and enthusiasm they experienced.

On the website bosco2011 you can view a further video, in Spanish, of the gathering of groups in the Salesian Family at Atocha on the evening of 17th August. That site is run by the Salesian Youth Movement in Spain.
