2015 marks 200 years since the birth of Don Bosco, the Patron Saint of Young People. It is a time:
• to give thanks for Don Bosco’s life and mission
• to celebrate the worldwide Salesian movement serving young people
• to be inspired in creating the future with joy and hope
The Bi-Centenary programme will do this through a range of activities for the Salesian Family and the wider Church.

THE BIG BIRTHDAY FESTIVAL
Saturday 15th August - 6pm - 10pm
A unique Festival for the Bi-Centenary celebrating 'The Province on Mission.'
This event will celebrate the 'Province on Mission' and is aimed at those who share or support our mission across the Provicne, including members of the Salesian Family. We will come together from all our local communities and areas of mission to celebrate Don Bosco's Birthday through our Liturgy, a presentation of Don Bosco - 'A Magic Saint!', a celebration meal outdoors, and a firework finale. This event will be a great opportunity to share time together, to celebrate who we are and to share this special moment with those with whom we minister. There will be the opportunity in our Liturgy to commit ourselves once again to the Salesian mission as we look to the future with hope.
THE BI-CENTENARY EXPO
The Expo will tour Great Britain in 2015 featuring:
• An exhibition of photographs on the theme of Vision of Life
• A professional theatrical performance on the vision of Don Bosco
• A contemporary prayer service
