Salesians in Liberia
Fr Harry O'Brien, currently (2012) Rector and Parish Priest in Lungi Sierra Leone, features in a 15 minute video tracing the history of the Salesians in Liberia, West Africa. In his gentle way he tells how the Great Britain Province accepted the mission in Liberia and how the work for needy young people continued in spite of wars and great hardships. Those who know the Salesians in the UK will recognise many familiar faces and names in his account.
