Bro Donald MacDonald’s Golden Jubilee
Bro Donald MacDonald celebrated his Golden Jubilee of Religious Profession at Thornleigh College Bolton on Sunday 9th September. During his fifty years as a Salesian, Bro Donald has taught young people in Shrigley, Aberdour, Blaisdon and Liberia. Since returning from Africa Bro Donald has continued to work for the missions from the Provincial House in Stockport. He corresponds with hundreds of people, many of whom he met face to face for the first time at the celebrations. After Mass in the College Chapel there was a buffet meal in the Community House.
