Killarney and the Ring of Kerry
After two full days of intensive study, the delegates took a welcome day out in the Irish Countryside, courtesy of Fr Koenraad and Fr John Horan, who drove the vehicles.
Firstly there was a walk along the banks of Muckross Lake in the Killarney National Park...
...stopping from time to time to drink in the beautiful views...
...and reaching Muckross House itself - visited in 1861 by Queen Victoria.
After a meal in a local hotel we set off again (in the vehicles!)
The Ring of Kerry took us as far as the viewpoint at Moll’s Gap (Fr Cor Anthonissen is at front left).
