Silver Jubilee of Salesian Work in Monrovia
From Friday 19th November to Sunday 21st November 2004, Fr Pascual Chávez, the Rector Major of the Salesian Congregation, was in Monrovia to celebrate 25 years of Salesian work for young people in Liberia.
Three members of the GBR province who each spent many years as missionaries in Liberia, Bro Donald MacDonald, Fr Joe Brown and Fr Michael O’Meara, flew out to Monrovia some weeks earlier to help with the preparations.
