End of Phase One

On Wednesday 23rd June 2004 Bishop Joseph Devine celebrated Mass in the Westwood Business Centre, Glasgow, to mark the end of the first phase of the Easterhouse Joint Pastoral Project. The Project, which began in 1996, involves the parishes of St Clare’s and St Benedict’s. Three Religious Congregations, the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB), the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA) and the Daughters of Charity (DC), are involved in the Project and together with the parishioners they make up the Pastoral Teams of the two parishes and the Joint Pastoral Team. The second phase of the Project begins in September 2004.
