Fr David becomes a Master
Fr David O’Malley SDB, has been awarded the degree of Master of Arts by the University of Wales, Lampeter. His field of study was ‘Religious Experience’. The graduation ceremony took place on Friday 11th July 2003.
Fr David worked for nine years at the Salesian Youth Retreat Centre, Savio House Bollington, and ran the Salesian Youth Office in Battersea for eight years, before taking up his present post of school chaplain at Thornleigh Salesian College, Bolton.
In recent years he has had several books published including “Trust the Road”, a book for young people about to move on from secondary education, “Ordinary Ways”, a book for parents and teachers, and “Via Lucis”, a series of meditations on the Risen Lord. All these books can be obtained from
