Blessing
This is the prayer read by Bishop Brian at the opening of the new building.
Lord God, compassionate Father, we are gathered here to celebrate the refurbishment of this building and the opening of our new extension and play area. We thank you for this occasion. We thank you for all who have made this day possible through their vision and commitment, their expertise and skill, their team-work and understanding, their generous support and friendship. We ask you to accompany them with your love and peace.
We ask you to bless our Jubilee extension. May it enhance the quality of our Salesian Mission here at Savio House. May all who use these facilities, but especially the young, find here joy, enrichment and fuller life.
We make this prayer through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. |
