Fr Preston preaches to AFW Novices
Between the 24th and 30th July 2004 our Provincial, Fr Francis Preston, was in Ibadan, Nigeria, to preach the retreat for the novices of Liberia, Nigeria, Ghana and Sierra Leone at the end of their novitiate year.
Four clerics in practical training also attended the retreat and two of them renewed their vows at the final Mass.
Br John Paul renews his vows. In the background are Br Ricchi from Ondo, Nigeria, and Fr Alessandro, a Salesian Priest from Italy, who is spending the month of August in Nigeria with some Italian volunteers.

Fr Francis thanks the novices for the song they had sung in his honour at the midday meal which brought the retreat to a close.
