Study Day at Bolton
On 12th January 2002 about forty Salesians from the Northern Houses assembled in the Sixth Form Centre of our school in Bolton, Thornleigh College, for the first of two study days led by Fr Arthur Lenti SDB, of the western US province.
Fr Arthur, who teaches at the Institute of Salesian Spirituality at Berkeley, California, spoke about Don Bosco’s life long struggle with poor health and reflected on the chronicle of his final illness when he had ‘to rely on the love of those he had loved all his life’.
