What is it like to be homeless?

34 sixth formers and 2 staff of the Salesian School Chertsey gathered on the last night of term at the Salesian  house. They celebrated Mass and shared a meal of pizza before facing sub-zero temperatures in the school playground, in an effort to experience what it is like to be out overnight without shelter and to raise money for the homeless this Christmas.

The Sponsored Sleepout was started by Fr Gerry Briody who has transported the idea to Farnborough and introduced this initiative there this year.
