Thornleigh celebrates 75 years
This year our school in Bolton, Thornleigh College, is celebrating the 75th anniversary of its foundation.
Fr John Corcoran, who was one of the first group of pupils starting school on September 14th 1925, is pictured here with the present head boy and head girl.
Mr Vincent Holland and his many associates have provided a comprehensive display covering the history of Thornleigh since its beginnings.
To mark the occasion a new colour booklet on Thornleigh past and present has been published. Christine McCormick has done a great job editing the publication and it will be on sale for £5 at school events during the year.
