The Annunciation of the Lord

AnnunciationDoNotBAfraid 500

As we celebrate the Feast of the Annunciation, we remember that Mary's "Yes" brought Jesus into human form; that he lived as one of us and understands all our suffering and anxiety; and that he remains with us always.

At 17:15 this evening, the Thornleigh Salesian Community will live-stream their Mass for the feast on our Province Facebook page.

Please join us then or visit the page later where you will still be able to see the Mass. Follow this link to our public page or search for @salesianlink on Facebook.

You can find and read our page even if you are not 'on' Facebook: you will be asked if you want to log in or join Facebook, but you do not have to in order to see the contents of our page, although I don't think you can comment on it unless you are logged in. If you'd like to respond to anything you see there, please drop Clare an email

We are also sharing morning prayer at each weekday with Fr John Dickson SDB from the Chertsey community's chapel. The videos are still available to watch after the live broadcast has ended.

The Salesian Family is praying for everyone affected by the COVID 19 crisis, especially the sick and vulnerable and those who care for them, our teachers and educators and all those who are continuing to provide the essential sevices we rely on. Thank you, and God bless you.

Mary Help of Christians and Don Bosco, pray for us.
