My soul proclaims the Lord
In the final days of Advent, as our waiting draws to a close, we think of Mary, the first evangeliser, and, following Don Bosco's example, entrust to her our own vocation in life and our mission to bring the Gospel to others through our actions and words. On this last Sunday of Advent, we also pray for all expectant mothers.

Last week, Salesian Link and Don Bosco Publications welcomed a new member to our teams. Dominic Small has joined us as a Business Administration Apprentice. Dom has really hit the ground running and is already making a big contribution to our work (including producing this week's RuaLink e-news, and getting some of our news onto the website!). Below, he tells us a little about himself. Welcome to our... Read More »

We are also invited to think less about ourselves and more about others. With that in mind, this year at Savio, we have adopted four charities.... Read More »

Fr Francis Preston SDB writes from Nairobi about some of the children kind Salesian donors in the UK are helping to educate.
During my first year in Kenya, I came to understand that many children here in Kenya don't attend school, or only very irregularly, because their parents or guardians can't pay their school fees. So when Caroline, a Catholic social worker based at St Monica's parish in a very... Read More »

The Catholic Church is not an intruder in any country; nor is she alien to any people. Apply remedies adapted to the various regions of the world, and see to the founding of seminaries for both individual regions and groups of dioceses. Pope Benedict XV, Maximum Illud 1919
