"Our Lord has written the promise of resurrection, not in books alone, but in every leaf in springtime." – Martin Luther King Jr.

At this special time of year, we have books to inspire and delight you. Accompany your little ones 'On the Road to Emmaus' or through 'Via Lucis: The Way of the Light'. Or perhaps, reflect with Fr Michael on the Gospel resurrection narratives in 'Alive'.

Updated COVID-19 statement for our Province

During this time when the Government is considering ways to gradually lift the lockdown, it is clear that social distancing measures will continue to be necessary to reduce the transmission of coronavirus. The country is being urged to 'STAY ALERT' and avoid "non-essential" social contact, including public transport, workplaces (where work can be done at home) and people from other households. As a result of the ongoing social distancing measures in place the Charity continues to allow employees to work from home (where possible) and prohibit visitor/external worker access to all of our community houses except in exceptional circumstances. We will continue to monitor Government advice and will only consider relaxing our own control measures when we believe that it is safe to do so. The situation changes rapidly and if the infection rate begins to rise again locally and/or nationally it may be that we need to introduce further strict measures to control the virus in the coming days and weeks and months. There are enhanced measures at all of our community houses to help protect our residents, essential visitors and staff. The main message from Public Health England is on personal hygiene, therefore residents, staff and visitors are also being encouraged to maintain good hand, respiratory and personal hygiene by employing the 'Catch It. Bin It. Kill It' ethos. Additional signage, tissues and bottles of hand sanitiser are available in communal areas to make it easier for everyone to clean their hands.
