On the Feast of St Joseph the Worker, Fr Gerry Briody, our Provincial, visited Farnborough to preside at an evening Mass celebrating the 25th anniversary of the opening of Saint John Bosco House. After the Homily, Br Michael Delmer read the names of the thirty confreres who had spent their final years as residents. Mass was followed by a festive meal, prepared by 'Crash', husband of our regular chef Elisabeth, assisted by their granddaughter. Also present as guests of honour were Elisabeth herself, who together with our Manager, Br Joe Adams, had worked in the house from the beginning, and some of our other loyal staff members: Tina, Alena, Margaret, and James.
