Welcome March as it brings the first day of spring with the vernal equinox, signalling the start of new beginnings. Use this Lenten time of reflection to read Michael Winstanley's 'Lenten Sundays' or focus on a prayer and reflection each day with the 'Swatch Journey through Lent' or remind your little ones of the prayer that Jesus taught us with the colourful 'The Our Father'.

Salesian religious life is centred on communities of priests, brothers, and sisters, sharing the charism of our founders, St. John Bosco and St. Mary Mazzarello, living the rhythm of the church's daily prayer according to the Salesian tradition of active contemplation set out in our rule. Each community is committed to a dynamic mission of working with and for young people through education, catechesis and youth ministry in each locality and also to building international partnerships through organisations such as Bosco Overseas Volunteer Action (BOVA) and the Don Bosco Green Alliance, fulfilling Don Bosco's vision of empowering young people to fulfil their role in society as good Christians and honest citizens.
