Residential Retreat Team/Programme Leader

Salary: £26,770-£27,940 pa dependent on experience (accommodation included)

Savio House are seeking an inspirational and committed practising Catholic to lead our retreat team of young volunteers and community members in the delivery of engaging, thought provoking retreat programmes to the young people that we serve.

The role is a residential fixed term post, living in a religious community, with a generous offering, including 10 weeks holiday per year, accommodation, full board, lodging and utility costs covered. It carries responsibility for the day-to-day management of the retreat team, retreat experience and programme development.

You will have professional experience of working with young people. We are looking for someone with strong motivational skills and a creative flair who enjoys spending time with young people. An ability to keep things in proportion and be resilient are key to the success of this role.

The role requires excellent organisation, administration and leadership skills with an ability to continually reassess priorities. You will be required to lead the majority of retreats which includes working evenings and weekends. Some experience of community living would be an advantage.

Post to commence in August 2024 and runs to end July 2026.
