"Our Lord has written the promise of resurrection, not in books alone, but in every leaf in springtime." – Martin Luther King Jr.

At this special time of year, we have books to inspire and delight you. Accompany your little ones 'On the Road to Emmaus' or through 'Via Lucis: The Way of the Light'. Or perhaps, reflect with Fr Michael on the Gospel resurrection narratives in 'Alive'.

Our Lady of Lourdes; World Day of Prayer for the Sick

Our Lady of Lourdes; World Day of Prayer for the Sick

Date: 11th February 2020

In 1992, Pope (now Saint) John Paul II asked that Catholics worldwide should pray for the sick and their caregivers on 11 February, when we commemorate Our Lady of Lourdes, who has helped so many who are suffering from illness. Each year, the Pope gives a message to the Church to focus on current issues for the sick and those who care for them. In 2020, he reminds us of the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28: 'Come to me all you who labour and are burdened.'
