August is the month where those who have taken exams in the summer, to receive their results.

Students from all of our Salesian Schools and Colleges received great results.

Many students from our colleges, receiving their A-Level results are going onto their first choice university.
From Thornleigh Salesian College in Bolton, identical twins, Shaniqua and Shakira, received 5 A's and an A* between them, and are going to Liverpool University to study Mechanical Engineering and Medicine.
At Salesian School in Chertsey, 20% of students gained straight A*/A results, and 90% achieving an A*-C grade.
In Salesian College, Farnborough, 87% of students were awarded an A*-C grade including George, who attained 4 A* grades and is going to Leeds University to study Mechanical Engineering.

The next week, Year 11 students received their GCSE results, with similar success.
All across the board, students achieved great success achieving 9's and 8's in their GCSEs with many continuing their journey at Sixth Form and College.
