Students across the country are preparing for their exams. In Years 10,11,12 and 13, these are exams that will count towards their GCSEs and A-Levels.

But there is a lot more going on in a school than just preparing for exams.

In Battersea, students have been raising money for CAFOD they've been doing various fundraising activities and taking part in the Big Lent Walk raising over £1500.

Over in Bolton, students in Year 11 at Thornleigh competed for the Bolton Cup, and played against Canon Slade school. Sadly Thornleigh lost 3-0.

At The Salesian Academy of St John Bosco, peer chaplains have been sharing their spirituality with students around the school by leading prayers in class.

Culture is a very important part of our society, and at Salesian School in Chertsey, they spent a day to recognise that. Students and staff were invited to come in dressed in the colour of their culture or countries flag. Everyone was encouraged to bring in food and drinks that were typical of their culture, and everyone was stuffed by the end.

The students at St John Bosco Arts College have presented 'The Passion', written by their chaplain, Anne Quirk. You can view Anne talking about the performance here.

And at Salesian College, Farnborough, CAFOD young leaders in Year 12, ran a 'Hire a Helper' event. Students in Years 7,8 and 9 were invited to 'hire' a helper in the sixth form. The highest bidder on a helper was allowed to have an early lunch, spend some time in the sixth form common room, and receive some help in lessons from their 'helper'.
