One of the most important ways to give children a sense of the presence of Jesus in their lives is prayer. School prayer moments can vary throughout the course of the day. Prayer moments that pick up on the rhythm of our Catholic prayer life and introduce the children to our Catholic family prayers, can help to give all in school a broader appreciation of why and how we pray. Theoretical observations come from Deacon Michael's and Fr Gerry's shared common Salesian education environment, which has shaped their attitude to ministry in schools.
