Bro Jacques Makponse SDB, of the North West African Province, renewed his Vows of Poverty, Chastity and Obedience for three years in front of Fr Stefano Martoglio SDB, the Vicar of the Rector Major at Thornleigh House, on Saturday 13th August.
Bro Jacques is living in the British Province in preparation for his Theological studies.

On Saturday, 13th August, Fr Gerry Briody renewed his commitment to the GBR Province as Provincial, for a second term of office.
In the presence of Fr Stefano Martoglio SDB, the Vicar to the Rector Major, Fr Gerry promised loyalty and fidelity to the Church, Congregation and Province.

Saju John SDB - Newly Appointed Rector of Thornleigh House

Saturday the 13th August saw Fr Saju John SDB inducted as the new Rector of the Salesian Community at Thornleigh, Bolton, in the presence of Fr Stefano Martoglio SDB, the Vicar of the Rector Major.
He takes over from Fr Michael Winstanley SDB who finished after nine years of service.
Fr Saju is also full-time Chaplain at Thornleigh Salesian College, Bolton.
