Savio House, Bollington: The Salesians in initial formation gathered at Savio House Retreat Centre over the weekend of 16-18 February 2024. Perpetual Profession of Br Paulin Tcha-Eigoulou Meba SDB

On Sunday 11th February 2024, Brother Paulin Tcha-Eigoulou SDB made his Perpetual Profession as a Salesian of Don Bosco.
The service was held in the Sacred Heart Parish in Battersea, which is served by the Salesians.
In attendance were priests, and brothers from all over the country, as well as Salesian Cooperators, and local Parishioners that came to celebrate with Br Paulin.

Celebrating Lunar New Year

Saturday 10th February 2024 saw the celebration of Lunar New Year.
Our Salesian community at Savio House, with Fr Joe Tran, and Salesian Sisters community in Cowley, Oxford, with Sr Nhung and Sr Xuandan, celebrated the new year with the tradition of exchanging red envelopes.

Diamond Jubilee Celebrations for Fr Bernard Grogan SDB

On Wednesday 7th February, the Thornleigh Community anticipated the 60th anniversary of Ordination of Fr Bernard Grogan SDB. Fr Bernard was ordained a Salesian priest on 9th February 1964 with 33 other men in Italy. Fr Bernard spoke of his love for the Church, for God and for our Salesian mission. He gave thanks for 60 years as a priest, 70 years as a Salesian and 90 years of life.

Salesian Sisters' Oratory Launch

On Monday 5th February, the Salesian Sisters launched their new Oratory in Easterhouse, Glasgow.
The first week has been a great success with the young people that came along each day, having fun playing games, sharing their musical skills, and chatting with Sr Gill, Sr Anne Frances and Sr Bernadette.
