As our Education delegate, Fr David O'Malley SDB is aware of school communities that are dealing with deaths of family members, parents and associates. "The usual pattern of support is not possible at this time, especially since the experience of dying and also funerals is far more stark than normal," he writes, "It is not easy and the limitations of technology appear starkly here"

Year 8 students at St John Bosco Arts College, Croxteth were set a challenge this week to take a photograph that showed 'Kindness'. The response was excellent, with many submissions for the staff to choose from. The winning photo was this one by Lizzie Fitzsimmons.
SJBA staff said it was 'a wonderful shot showing us that the simple things really are the best'. Well done, Lizzie!

Salesian Youth Ministry has been changing its plans for the Youth Easter retreat to offer its Easter Triduum retreat online, and together with the Salesian community at Thornleigh, would like to invite all of the Salesian Family to take part. Alone Together is a new website offering support during social distancing and isolation, from members of the monastic tradition and people from other traditions, some of whom have coped with enforced isolation.
